was founded in 1811 by Rev. William Smart, making it the oldest
congregation in Brockville. Rev. Smart was an itinerant preacher
who spread the gospel on horseback, carrying his Bible in his saddlebags.
Evidence suggests that the very first Sunday School in Canada is a result
of this ministry. Now, almost 200 years later, it is still our joy to offer you
and your family the joy of good news in Christ.
